Diesel Emissions Cleaning

Keep Your Emissions Clean With Brignall

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Cleaning

Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) are standard issue on new diesel vehicles and equipment. A DPF filter is meant to keep your engine and fuel emissions low by removing the particulate matter and toxic chemicals from the exhaust. The DPF can become clogged with soot and will need to cleaned.

Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC) Cleaning

Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC) are installed in diesel engines to reduce carbon, nitrous oxide and particulate matter. These catalytic converters oxidize hazardous pollutants in diesel exhaust and turn them into harmless products or reduce their concentration for less of an environmental impact.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cleaning

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is intended to control nitrous oxide emissions from diesel engines. The EGR significantly diminishes the oxygen in the combustion chamber so that nitrogen can't combine with oxygen to form nitrous oxide.

All DPF, DOC and EGR units that we receive go through Brignall's rigorous cleaning process:

  • Unit is baked to removed soot and particulate matter.
  • It is then cleaned manually by hand for the highest standard of cleaning.
  • The unit then undergoes an inspection and quality control where the flow tested to ensure proper air movement.

Brignall Equipment Solutions aims for a convenient 24-hour turnaround on DPF, DOC and EGR cleaning services. Oddly shaped or over-sized units aren't a challenge for us either, we can clean them. We also won't turn away smaller diesel cars such as Volkswagen TDI, Chevrolet Cruse Diesel, Audi Q5 TDI, BMW 328D, Mercedes- Benz.
